Mama’s Broke is a dynamic folk duo hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, comprised of Amy Lou Keeler and Lisa Maria. Since forming in 2014—a chance meeting during a road trip—they’ve become tireless road warriors, carrying their music across North America, Europe, Ireland, and beyond.
Their debut full-length, Count the Wicked (2017), earned them the Canadian Folk Music Award for Ensemble of the Year.Their second album, Narrow Line (2022), was nominated for both a CFMA Vocal Group of the Year award and a Juno Award for Traditional Roots Album of the Year.
