Sangre Gitana is an original Rumba Flamenco band based out of El Paso, “the crossroads of a musical melting pot”.
They originated in 1997, spearheaded by local artists who were captivated by the enchanting sounds of Rumba Flamenca.
In 2000, during an encounter with the Gypsy Kings, lead singer, Nicolas Reyes, dubbed them SANGRE GITANA.
Their sound blends rumba and salsa with the lively flair of flamenco.
