Midnight’s Midnight is the surreal, lyrically-driven debut film from @martinwgropper and @vigilantics The film follows them on a poetic exploration of time passing through lenses of love, relationship, and history. As they wander the southwestern wilderness the lines between reality, myth, and memory blur as totemic animals appear to guide them from 1947 to the present while the Doomsday clock inches closer to midnight.

This is a story told where Sylvia Plath has become a captured field mouse, Huxley a garter snake, and Marilyn Monroe a blonde baby chicken on the cover of Playboy; filmed in a world lit only by old telephone booths, antique projectors, and the fading hour before the New Mexico sun sets.
