OCTOBER HAPPENINGS

BOO!

October is full of Music and of course, Halloween!

We are excited to be hosting so many wonderful artists & events. Everything from our monthly Songwriter’s Showcase to ‘progressive metal’ with Silver City’s own Noah Shepard, to R&B Soul from Louisiana, some foot-stompin’ Bluegrass – to our very first Halloween Dance Party Extravaganza with DJ Dirtyverbs & Costume Contest Promenade! Bring your moves, dress up, get wild, take the bus.

But first - of course, we have to talk about - the weather.

Seems like we went right from summer to fall – a quick change of seasons after a hot, dry summer. But we have been getting some late rains, and the nights are crisp. We love seeing everyone enjoying the outside gardens, sitting out on the deck, playing corn hole and horseshoes, and taking advantage of the cooler days and starry nights.

Wine Wednesdays continue with revolving wine tasting 'happy hour' & music. We have some great wines on our wine list that pair well with our wood-fired pizza (of course). And specialty sandwiches & salads are coming soon!

We had some wonderful Sunday Concerts this past month. So make sure you check the website for updated happenings. Music can fall on any night of the week around here!

Sunday Concert with Dolly Creamer

Our Plant Nursery is closing at the end of September. Whatever availability we have left – you are welcome to peruse (and purchase) – you will just have to use the front entrance. We will be back in full swing sometime in April with lots of natives, locally-grown fruit trees, and expanded selections of hardy perennials. Also, don’t forget Matilda and Whiskey Penny love to see you and appreciate all the head scratches and goat treats that come their way.

New News!

The Lodge in the front, (which I know many of you have 'peeked in' & been curious about) has been a work in progress & is definitely a work of art - will be open for party rentals, workshops, members club events, art gallery showings and more!

THANK YOU!

Thank you all for showing up for the Music! For the Pizza! - and for supporting our efforts in creating such a multi-faceted space. We Love our corner of the world, and we are mindful of our sense of place. We hope our location serves as a reminder and a bridge - joining together the mining district, our incredibly beautiful rural communities and our town. We are all Grant County.
